Description
The Scorpion 3 was released by Blaze in 2003 as a successor to the Scorpion 1&2. This time they went for a black color scheme instead of the silver and wood-colored approaches of the two previous guns. The gun is modeled after the Walther P99 with some slight changes to the design, I guess because of the lack of a license. It doesn’t have a normal gunmode, which means It can only be used with GunCon 1&2 games. For convenience, it has a laser sight beneath the barrel, which only activates if the gun is pointed at the screen. This feature can be turned off if the “D” and “Select” buttons are pressed at the same time.
On the right side above the trigger there are the buttons “A”, “Start” and “Select”. In the front under the barrel are two wheels to calibrate the laser sight, as well as the switch for the gunmode. The right side houses the “B” and “D” buttons. The “D” is used to change some functions of the gun: A single press changes the firemode between normal and autofire+autoreload. By pressing this button and “Select” at the same time, you can toggle the laser sight. On the back of the gun are a digipad and the “C” button.
