NINTENDO Zapper

Description

For the North American and European markets, Nintendo released the Zapper in 1985 for their Nintendo Entertainment System. It was a redesign of the only in Japan released Nintendos Video Shooting Series light gun for the western markets. Other than its japanese pendant, which was modeled after a classic revolver, it was designed to resemble a futuristic gun. The gray/white color scheme was changed to orange/white in 1989, due to the Federal Toy Gun Law in America. It came bundled in the NES “Deluxe Set” and later the “Action-Set” or could be bought separately.

Besides the trigger, the Zapper does not have any other buttons.
