Description
Cybergun released the Micro-Uzi in 2002 for the US and Canadian markets in a blue and in a red variant. Both shells were transparent, so you could see the electronics on the inside. Like the similar built pendant from Thrustmaster, it features some metal parts, like the foldable stock and the front part of the sight. These guns are officially licensed by Israel Military Industries, their logo is featured on the back of the box and as an imprint on the handle of the gun. Next to the normal gun mode, it also supports Namcos GunCon1 and 2 modes.
At the front above the trigger guard are the A and B buttons, where the B button on the right of the gun is not easy to reach if the stock is folded in. On the left side are the buttons Select and Start, as well as a switch for selecting the gun mode. Below these, at the handle, is the selector for autofire/autoreload. In front of the handle is a button for manual reload or the duck mechanic in Time Crisis, it can be pressed with the index finger while holding the gun. On the back of the handle is another metal part, which looks like a button but can’t be pressed and isn’t connected to anything. At the bottom of the fake magazine is an on/off switch for the feedback. The manual states that there is a special connector for an optional pedal, but that feature is missing.
The gun sports a strong blowback feedback that makes the slide on top go rapidly back and forth. There is no additional power source necessary for it to function.
